Second place earns 7 points. Third place earns 6 points. Fourth place earns 5 points. Fifth through eight place earn 4 points. Everyone else who played in the event earns 3 points. No matter what BCW event is played, each player earns points in their own point list. For example, if a Class B player plays in the first Class B, Class A, and Master tournament, and doesn't finish in the top 8 in any of the three events, they would have 9 points in the Class B point list. At the end of the season, the top player in each of the three point lists receives free entry to the Wisconsin State Championship tournament. The players that finish second on these four respective point lists will receive a 50% discount on their entry fee for the Wisconsin State Championship tournament. In addition, any player that finishes third these four respective point lists will receive a 50% discount to either the One Pocket or Straight Pool division. The top 32 players in the Class A and Class B point lists, and the top 16 players on the Class AA and Master's point lists are guaranteed a spot to play in the State Championship tournament if they send their entry fee in by the first deadline. If openings exist after the first deadline, those spots will go to the first players to send their entry fee in who were not in the top 32.
